An intimate perspective of South Korean culture through the lens of graphic designer, David Prosser.

Mountain is a beautiful three and half minute animation created for the Seoul international cartoon & animation festival (SICAF) by David Prosser.

Based on a trip David made to Seoul for SICAS, the video captures various moments of city life. Telling the story of three different people who live within the city, all of whom are living under the presence of the giant mountain, which towers above the city of Seoul.

Bliink loves the amount of movement and life in the video. The sterile geometric vector shapes of the mountain depict a whole other side of Seoul and the people who live beside it.

All characters are created in Flash and the backgrounds created in Photoshop which in turn creates an array of beautiful patterns and textures.
