We were asked to create a public service announcement. The shocking situation that 21 million people worldwide find themselves in: modern day slavery (forced labour). We took an emotive, illustrative route to explain some of the circumstances that lead to victims becoming trapped in forced labour. Often unpaid, separated from their families and in squalid living conditions. The animation highlights the crucial work that the ILO undertake. By raising visibility around this issue and help people to avoid falling into this trap. The main aims of the ILO are to promote rights at work, encourage decent employment opportunities, enhance social protection and strengthen dialogue on work-related issues.
