The European Commission asked us to create an animation that highlighted key data and trends from their recent annual report on SME’s in Europe. A staggering 99.8% of Europe’s businesses are made up of small to medium sized enterprises (SME’s). Therefore with this is mind our concept was to build a world of small mechanics (SME’s) that build up Europe’s economy. As you can imagine there was a huge amount of information to sift through. Therefore we highlighted data that supported the key messages and designed intricate mechanical graphs to highlight this. The result is this wonderful churning mechanical world.
